We are very pleased and humbled that Squitchy Lane has been awarded the Dr Bailey Carrodus Memorial Perpetual Wine of Provenance Trophy at the Yarra Valley Wine Show.
The Wine of Provenance Trophy is unique as it recognizes excellence in producing a particular wine over a minimum period of eight years. It also takes into account the ability of the wine to age
To be successful with this award we had to submit three different vintages of the same wine – in this case we submitted 2014, 2018 and 2022 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. These wines are then judged together as a group.
We are extremely humbled to receive this recognition for our Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon as it places in the company of some very distinguished previous winners including Coldstream Hills and Yeringberg.
