AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
We are sure that you will be delighted by your Squitchy Lane wine purchases. However, if at any time you are not satisfied with the quality of the goods you have purchased, please call us on (03) 5964-9114, and we will be happy to assess your request for a credit, refund or exchange.
Our Returns Policy includes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law and provides additional benefits in addition to those rights.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.’
If in the event your purchase is faulty, damaged, wrongly described or breaches a consumer guarantee we will refund or exchange with proof of purchase.
If your purchase incurred a delivery fee, we would cover the cost of delivery for the return if we are at fault (i.e wrong product delivered, fault with the product including damage caused in transit or breach of a consumer guarantee.) In all other circumstances, the delivery charge will be deducted from the refund value.
Please note we are unable to process refunds until the wines are received back to the winery in good condition although most refunds will be processed within 48 hours of receipt of goods.
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
We may accept any order for the supply of goods (in whole or in part), or decline any order. We are not liable to you in respect of those goods that we are unable to supply to you, provided that we refund any amounts paid by you in respect of the unsupplied goods.
Delivery
Unless the purchaser expressly requests to the contrary, the purchaser requests the seller to deliver the goods to the purchasers nominated address. Delivery is via Australia Post. The person that we deliver to must aged 18 years or over and may be asked to provide proof of age. If there is no-one at the delivery address, or if there is no-one aged 18 years or over, an attempted delivery card will be left at the delivery address, and you will need to collect your wine from the location specified in the delivery notice. Any delivery time frames specified by us are indicative only. We are not liable for any loss or damage that you may suffer if delivery is not made within the delivery timeframes or if it is delayed for any reason.
